Giant Cereal Marshmallows are Reality in Yakima

I had to pop into Yakima's Ship Shop on 40th and Summitview to drop off a package. I love visiting that store because not only is it convenient for my mailing needs but they also carry a wide variety of local products and snacks. Every time I mail a package I end up walking out with a pint of ice cream or local bbq sauce or something. But I'm all for it as I love it.

What caught my eye the other day was, in the middle of the freeze-dried candies were, what looked like, giant cereal marshmallows. Like, the marshmallows you find in Lucky Charms but huge. I honestly didn't know if they were just regular soft marshmallows in that shape or what they were. I figured I'd test them out as I knew I'd enjoy them either way.

Turns out that they're not soft. They're crunchy just like cereal marshmallows. This was what I was hoping for.

You see, there's nothing stopping you from putting marshmallows in any cereal.
Raisin Bran too healthy of a cereal for you? Just add marshmallows.
What to give your Coco Puffs a 'cocoa' vibe? Just add marshmallows.
Lucky Charms isn't giving you enough marshmallows? By all means, just add more marshmallows.
They work just like regular marshmallows though they may be a bit too crunchy for some, but they crunch the same way as cereal marshmallows do. You could let them sit in milk longer, but either way these are super fun.

There are other companies selling these online as well like through etsy or ebay if you search for giant lucky charm marshmallows or even 'space charms' but our local Yakima Valley Treats have them available on their website as well.

BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
