National Cereal Day is coming up on March 7th. This is as big of a holiday for me, personally, as anything as I love cereal more than the typical grown-up.

I have my go-to favorites, but what is the common consensus about everyone's favorite in Washington State?

The good people at Vegas Insider crunched the numbers and found the top cereals here in Washington State.

See if your favorite made the list.

What are the most liked cereals in Washington State?

The number one spot, believe it or not, goes to Cheerios.

To be fair, I think they counted all types of Cherrios. The classic ones which are great by themselves but also other favorites like Honey Nut Cheerios, Chocolate Cheerios, Frosted Cheerios and all the seasonal varieties they come out with. It seems there's a new Cheerio flavor every 6 months or so.

Lucky Charms came in 2nd place. Any cereal with marshmallows has to be a favorite by most. Kids love them because they're fun and I think adults love them because it reminds them of being a kid.

Third place goes to Cinnamon Toast Crunch. What was once just a cereal you can now find Cinnamon Toast Crunch buttery spread, crumble toppings, CTC cinnamon sugar shakers... I even saw Cinnamon Toast Crunch-enhanced bacon the other day. That may be taking it a little too far.

Here's the rest of the list.

4. Fruity Pebbles
5. Frosted Flakes
6. Froot Loops
7. Rice Krispies
8. Corn Flakes
9. Raisin Bran
10. Special K
11. Trix
12. Cap'n Crunch

Cap'n Crunch is actually high up on the list in most places. Not so much in Washington State. Interesting.

Speaking of cereal, remember these classics?
