It has been a little over seven years since the passing of the late great Whitney Houston. Such an incredible voice, nothing like it and now we are getting a chance to hear a "new" song produced by Kygo. Thank you, sir!

"Higher Love" is actually a remixed version of Houston's cover of the 1986 Steve Winwood song, which was previously released as a Japan-only bonus track on her 1990 album,I'm Your Baby Tonight.

One of my favorite singers of all time. Her national anthem was my go-to when I began singing it. I actually would fall asleep with my headphones in to capture every note. She crushed it and I can honestly say I haven't heard one comparable since.

She is one of a kind and I am a bit shocked to learn that today, seven years after her passing. We have a new song. A modern song from her and it is catchy as hell.
