I Tried the Three New Lay’s ‘Do Us a Flavor’ Chips So You Don’t Have To [Taste Test]

The Lay's potato chip company comes out with new flavors all the time.

Sure, standard ones like barbecue or sour cream and onion are full-time but sometimes it's fun to see what else they come up with.

In year's past, the Lay's 'Do Us a Flavor' contest would have people submit their fun ideas and Lay's and they'd actually make a few of them to let the public vote on their favorites.

I'm always happy to try out some new flavors.
I grabbed all three varieties to taste test. Here's what I think.

Lay's Bacon Grilled Cheese

It started out a bit like that cheese dust you'd find on Cheetos. Not as strong, but kinda there. Then you get a hint of that smoky-salt flavoring that simulations the bacon. These were really good.

Lay's Wavy Korean-Style Fried Chicken Review

These were the ones I was most excited to try. Think bbq but next level with those Korean spices. There's a zing that lingers. Not super spicy but enough of one to be aware of if you can't handle anything spicy at all. I do love Korean fried chicken and Yakima even has a place where you can order it. Along with these being the wavy variety gives it that extra crunch. I liked these a lot.

My vote

All three were very tasty but my pick goes to the Korean-style Chicken Wings. All three were good, though.

Then again, to me, my favorite is just basic 'potato' flavored original chips. But it's fun to see what they come up with next.
