Rice Krispies Treats have always been one of my favorite treats.

Something so simple about combining Rice Krispies, butter, and marshmallows together to great such an iconic snack that's easy to make, relatively inexpensive, great for any function, and something most are familiar with, you can't go wrong.

And they're hard to mess up if you're not too skilled in the kitchen.

Well, for years this was the standard. Just your basic Rice Krispies, butter (never margarine), and marshmallows, though people, along the way, have started adding other ingredients like peanut butter or even adding a layer of chocolate to the base of them.

And then TikTok got out of control with making them full-on gourmet notions. It's crazy the creativity people can do.

For instance...

Instead of going through the process of making items like this, Kelloggs has new Rice Krispies Bliss on the shelf. These are elevated Rice Krispies Treats with added items to make them bite-sized flavor explosions.

They come in two varieties, Chocolate Sea Salt Pretzel and Caramel Sea Salt Pretzel.

Upon opening them both, my first thought was that they seem smaller than typical ones. Not sure if it's a cost-saving measure to make these smaller because they're also using other ingredients to price them out as standard, I'm not sure. It's not a bad thing, but just an observation.

The toppings on top of both of these didn't stay on as well. when I lifted either, both of them had pretzels that fell off so I just have to be more delicate.

The flavor of both is great, though. It's nice. It's just a Rice Krispies Treat with added elements like semi-sweet chocolate and the sea salt pretzels on both is a nice salty with sweet combination.

These are slated to be in stores starting in April at a suggested retail price of $3.99.
