Is ‘Jurassic World’ Too Scary for a 9-Year-Old?

My 9-year-old, Shaylee, has been into dinosaurs lately and she recently told me that she wants to go see "Jurassic World."

I'm concerned because the movie is rated PG-13.

She saw the original "Jurassic Park" and it didn't scare her. But that film was from 20 years ago and special effects are a lot more realistic now.

Should I take my 9-year-old to see a PG-13 movie?
