Another casualty from coronavirus is the cancelation of the 43rd annual Kiwanis Camp. This was slated to take place in August to feature junior and seniors in high school in a week-long law enforcement summer camp that was to include a WSP driving course, firing range, SWAT and more.

This decision was not made easily and the staff and volunteers who make this event happen every year are disappointed, but understand the need for social distancing and reducing the spread of Covid-19.

Sergeant Darren Wright, Public Information Officer

This event is is planning to return in 2021.
