McDonald’s Menu Items People in Yakima Will Probably Remember

I find myself through the McDonald's drive-thru every so often. Whether I'm just grabbing a quick drink for myself or something for the kids, it gives me time to check out the menu and, even though I never order them for myself anymore, what Happy Meal theme is happening at the time.

Right now, it's Minecraft and one of the items in the photo is a face I haven't seen in a long time.

I remember the Birdie who was the mascot for the 'early bird' breakfast items.

Their commercials usually involved them not flying very well, I remember that, too.

It also got me thinking about how awesome McDonald's used to look, and not even that long ago. It used to look like you were entering a fun cartoon house or something. Now it's just a basic building built for economic reasons or something, I'm not sure.

Here was our McDonald's on 16th and Lincoln back in 2012. Not even that long ago.

It got me thinking about all the food items at McDonald's that doesn't exist anymore as well.

Some come and go and others are temporary and then you never hear from them ever again.

I thought it'd be fun to look back on some of those menu items you've been craving to return after all these years or even a few unlocked memories of some items you may have grabbed once upon a time.
