Simply enough you take the soft-serve ice cream, add toppings, blend it together and you have a McFlurry. Nice to have this option as the ice cream is great but if you get an ice cream cone to go it will inevitably drip onto your shirt or pants.

4. McMuffin
A breakfast item so popular it cracked the top 5. You can't go wrong with one of these in the morning.

3. Big Mac
I won't spare you with the ingredients as you probably know them already thanks to the famous rhyme from the classic commercial. This is a staple McDonald's menu item that's not going away ever.

2. McChicken
This was my personal favorite item for many years. Especially when they were on the dollar menu. Years later there would be chicken sandwich wars that pitted Popeyes with Burger King and all other restaurants getting their own version. It all started with McDonald's who has had a crispy chicken sandwich for years. Decades, even.

1. Chicken McNuggets
When the Chicken McNugget was first introduced in the early '80s I was hooked. I loved chicken strips and this took that concept and made them bite-sized so they were easier to manage. And several dips to choose from. I usually just ate them plain but that sweet and sour sauce is something special.
