You know-- we all have those friends we say we have known our whole lives but it just ends up being a thing we say that really just means a long time. For me, that is not the case, I have a friend who I have literally known my whole life. Our parents were friends before we were born and we so we were built in besties, no assembly required.

Our 28 years of friendship has been through basically everything you can think of, and most of our firsts in life were done with each other side by side. From our first sneak out to our first drink, first grade all the way through the end of high school, Amanda and I have seen it all. But-- even after all this time there was something we hadn't done, and that was basking in the day she became a bride.

Now, let me tell you-- it's not like she wasn't ready or she didn't have a relationship because she totally did... for the last 10 years to be exact! We all waited (well, mainly Amanda) for Junior to be ready to make the move and pop the question--which he did and for both of them, it was perfect timing. Everything fell into place the way that it should and when it came time to pick a venue they decided a small elopement in Vegas was just their style and I couldn't agree more!

Although we couldn't be in Vegas to celebrate their day with them we had that chance over the weekend, when we got to enjoy their reception! It was the most perfect day, even despite the frigid temps and the rain, the love and joy that filled the air was much heavier than anything mother nature could have thrown at us.

From the Music to the food, from dancing to cake Saturday was a day I will never forget, Amanda you were truly the most beautiful bride.
