KIRO is also saying the Reserve Roastery store in SoDo is also closing shop.
This sudden closure comes shortly after Starbucks announces laying off near 1,000 people as well as many corporate layoffs in an effort to save nearly one billion dollars.
This also may not mean there will be no more new Starbucks locations opening, only when it makes sense to do so.
In the meantime, with the layoffs that started in February and the sudden closing of these major Seattle locations, it sure sounds like a time to come.
This Seattle Reserve Roastery location was a popular tourist destination to see a fancy Starbucks as well as a hit for locals who lived in the area.
They'll have to find a new location now.
As of this time there doesn't seem to be any other stores closing as of just yet. If (or when) that changes we'll let you know.
