The Orchards Rivals Miller Park for ‘Best Place for Water Fountains in Yakima’
I found myself at Rosauers to grab a few things including, but not limited, to fresh doughnuts, soda, and soup when, upon my exit, I noticed the most graceful of water fountains.
This happens every so often when a sprinkler head is broken or something.
Though they sprinkler system was activated for the early morning (around 6:30 a.m.) schedule, while most were working great, the one I saw was a steady stream creating a perfect arch that made me stop and reminisce about my love for St. Louis.
That was when I looked down the way and noticed another. And another. And another.
I spotted three or four of these beauties all down the way.
Again, most of the sprinklers were working great, but these were just a few that, instead of evenly watering the grassy areas of the parking lot, there were a few that would just blast maybe a foot or so into the skies and water the asphalt.
Yeah, I know, this article is a little tongue-in-cheek but hopefully can also serve as a notice as many the people who care for this lot aren't aware that the sprinklers are doing this and could be an easy fix, or something that can be fixable.
It didn't bother anyone, and they are fun to see when this type of stuff does happen. If I had my kids with me they'd probably be tempted to take their shoes and socks off and run through it.
