Did you ever think we would see a day where we could actually say the phrase, "Selfies are causing health issues?" Well we can now.

A new condition called "Selfie wrist" is a form of carpal tunnel syndrome -- an overenthusiastic selfie-taker might experience some tingling or sharp pain that comes from excessive wrist flexing. According to the Irish Medical Journal, there have been several recorded incidents that include:

 The selfie-taker jumping on a trampoline, walking on rocks or just not paying attention and ending up breaking their wrist from falling or colliding with other objects, according to the medical journal.

So if you are an avid selfie taker, beware of the selfie wrist!
