The Slides Are In! We’re Getting Closer to the Opening of the YMCA’s Aquatic Center

The YMCA and Yakima Rotary Aquatic Center is scheduled to open this fall, and workers took a big step toward that grand opening last week as they erected the slides that will snake their way around part of the outside of the new center!

According to the Yakima YMCA; "This world class facility is underway! The aquatic center will have two large slides, an eight-lane lap pool, a family play pool with a lazy river and large child play structure with small slides, and a warm water therapy pool."

I think I speak for most of us here in the Yakima Valley when I say that we are ecstatic for this new facility to finally open! There are so many that have been wanting a decent water park for so long, and now we've got something!
