I am NOT into Halloween. Not my favorite holiday, if you can call it that. But amazing facts do facinate me. Like the list below. This only makes sense on Halloween. Here are some facts surrounding the hallowed holiday that you can use at your next Goth dinner party.

"It's estimated that there are around 25-50 active serial killers in the US."
John Douglas is a former chief of the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit and author of 'Mind Hunter'. He states, “A very conservative estimate is that there are between 25 and 50 active serial killers in the United States” at any given time. Sleep well ya'll!

"One inmate who survived the first round of electrocution said death tasted 'like peanut butter.'"
Willie Francis had survived his own execution via the electric chair. When asked about the experience Willie, said that death “tasted like peanut butter” and looked a lot “like shines in a rooster’s tail.”
I don’t know what that last part means, but I love me some peanut butter. Hey, it could be worse and going out could taste like peas. Ick.

"Dogs like squeaky toys because they sound like small animals being crushed."
Think about this next time you play with your dog and their squeaky toy. According to animals experts, the toy noise is comparable to the sound of prey that’s frightened or injured, which may ignite their innate wolf-like drive to keep attacking. When the dog squeaky toy stops squeaking, this tells the dog that he has successfully “killed” his prey and he can cease the attack. No squeaky, no more playee.
