In today's job market, you go to one job interview and you are sitting there next to 10 other people who have the same qualifications and the same education that you do. So what do you do to stand out? What do you do to make yourself different? Well, one thing is for certain: Whatever you do, you might need to step up your game because the guy across the street might be upping his game more than yours.

Sometimes it isn't about the education or the experience, which is what one college student in Atlanta found out. Singh is a 19-year-old student at Georga Tech, and lucky for him his dorm room faced a Fortune 500 company that was just across the street. So what did he do? Well, he took out his sticky notes and wrote a message: "Hire Me." No not in pen, and not in pencil. He literally spelled out "hire me" with sticky notes, which were seen by the company and in return spelled out "Email?" in sticky notes. And the next thing you know, this kid is being hired on as an intern!

Moral of the story: Take chances and do that thing you have been thinking about that could make you stand out!
