People looking for something familiar, like a flatbread pizza, I'd recommend the spicy turkey jalapeño flatbread from Fiddles Lunch Box on Nob Hill. It's mouthwatering with every bite, and if you don't want it too spicy, just ask them to lay off the extra jalapeños.

The fresh local asparagus tamales at Los Hernandez are what got them the coveted foodie award a few years back, and the chef at Crafted was a semi-finalist for Best Chef two years in a row.
