Every so often we'll have people come into our radio stations. Sometimes it's a new business wanting to speak to someone about advertising. Sometimes it's a new business who drops off menus or delivers a small tray of goodies letting us know they're not open for business.
There's been a few times people have come in to sell food items directly to just support themselves buy hitting up all the local shops in our area. Old school direct door-to-door sales.

This is from Love in a Box.
If the name sounds familiar, they have sold items at some local pop-up events and vendor faire-type events around town.
Their goal, though, is to have an actual bakery in town that they can open to welcome in people looking for cookies, cinnamon rolls, cakes, and other treats.
I love the idea of someone looking to get the word out about them with a goal of bringing new business to Yakima.
And a bakery is always a great idea.
They brought over mostly cookies but had a couple of cinnamon rolls that were for sale. A few of us in the office bought something to help support the cause.

Check out Love in a Box on Instagram as they also sell online and I'm guessing would be available for pick-up or delivery. I didn't quite ask that part but they said they do orders via Instagram as well.
Who knows, maybe the next time we talk about this business it will be to welcome everyone to their grand opening.
