With our visiting judge, The Hon. Savanah, holding court, here's Couples Court Case #073015 -- Parents vs. Child in a case of coming home on time ...

My 13-year-old son is a good kid, but he likes to push to the limit. Last night he asked to stay out with friends. We said, "Come on home, it’s dinnertime.” Then we agreed to let him stay for one more hour, but be back at 7:30. He said, “7:35?” I said, that’s it, 7:30 and if you’re late, you’re grounded. 7:30 hits, no kid. 7:35 I start calling him. No answer. 7:45 he shows up: He explains that they were outside, never went anywhere, and “I’m only a few late, I didn’t hear the phone.” Should he be grounded?

What do you think? Should he be grounded for not obeying his parents, or do you think Mom and Dad are overreacting?
