My little Shaylee has been playing AAU basketball since she was in first grade. She can make baskets during practice, but has yet to make one during a game. She's gotten frustrated over the past couple years. I keep telling her to work hard at practice and eventually it will pay off. Well ... on Saturday my words proved to be true.

This week is the start of Rik and I participating in the Yakima Athletic Club's "Get In Shape Challenge." Part of the six-week program is diet and nutrition. Rik's diet is let's say ... questionable at best. He eats burritos from the mini mart for breakfast while chugging down a Mountain Dew pretty much every morning.
