It's a day we take all year to prepare for, and we join forces with the community to make this as successful for the village as we possibly can-- it's the Children's Miracle Network Radiothon and we are just 10 short days away!

A radiothon from the outside might just seem like another fundraiser-- and in the beginning that is exactly what it was for me. It wasn't until The Bull decided to join forces with KIT and become partners in heading up the radiothon that it changed into something extraordinary. It wasn't until I took on organizing our inaugural CMN softball tournament that I truly had an inside look as to what it takes to put on something of this magnitude, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to experience this. This year for the radiothon we are doing something different -- we will be broadcasting live from Children's Village and so that means we have to start preparing now!

When you see the behind the scenes of that make the radiothon so great it isn't the amount of money that is raised (although that is pretty great as well), it's the people who put it on, and the families whose lives benefit from it that makes it so special. The radiothon wouldn't be what it is today if it didn't have amazing people like Josh Munson, who organizes and heads the whole event. He has so much love and adoration for the kids and the families that he really brings the process full circle.

Through this process, I have been able to meet and befriend some incredible people at the Children's Village and I will forever hold them in my heart. From Nico, Rhys, Jonah, to Ava these kids all are apart of a family that will forever be bonded to each other through the village and their families have become apart of something that is never-ending.
