Call to Action this Weekend for Children’s Miracle Network
The Once Call, One Miracle Radiothon took place for Children's Miracle Network took place on Friday with Townsquare Media leading the charge over the airwaves. More than $45,000 was raised but we had some businesses throw down the gauntlet, a challenge if you will, for this weekend through Monday at noon.
You can grab lunch at the following places and $1 of your order will be gifted to Children's Miracle Network through Monday
- King's Row in Selah said every King's Row lunch order from yesterday at noon through Monday at noon will have $1 from that purchase gifted right back to Children's Miracle Network. What a great reason to order a local burger :)
- Soup-R-Dawgs in Union Gap offered the same for their Chicago dawg meal, $1 from each meal purchased through Monday at noon will be gifted back to Children's Miracle Network
If you are interested in being a part of the fundraising effort know that all the money raised goes right back into our local Children's Miracle Network. It helps fund the Memorial Foundation, the Pediatrics Unit, our Virginia Mason Memorial NICU, and Children's Village.
You can message us via the app or find me on @sarahjthedj and I'll add you to the list.
$5 changes the mood of an entire family with a book they can read to their child
A $20 or more re-occurring gift will get your name on the Miracle Maker wall outside of the Memorial Cafe at Virginia Mason Memorial
$25 is a gas card gifted to a family in the lower valley that has to drive here for services
There are so many children and families in need that any type of donation you are able to give will make an incredible difference.
Kids can't wait for a cure and even though we are in the middle of a pandemic the services and needs haven't stopped.
