For decades fair food has been the sole reason many attend the fair and that’s why fair officials spend a lot of time making sure they have plenty of great food for you to enjoy.

The Official Kickoff to the Central Washington State Fair will take place on Friday evening, September 24th. The theme for this year's fair is 'Celebrate Together Again' and the evening will feature music, fun and a big thank you to those 'Essential Workers'.

Don't look now, but, it's July already and half of 2021, the year we were pining for so that 2020 would go away, is gone. Even more mind-blowing, but in a good way, we're just a little over two and a half months away from the return of the Central Washington State Fair!

One of the events, which so many of us look forward to each year, is the 4th of July festivities at State Fair Park. Well. it's coming back in a big way this year and there's so much fun to be had, it's going to take THREE DAYS of fabulous fun to take it all in!

The Spring Fair Food Fest presented by HAPO Community Credit Union at State Fair Park is going on thru Sunday and you're in store for many amazing treats. All of the favorite fair food will be featured and there are some new items to try as well!

The Central Washington State Fair, events such as the 4th of July fireworks & festivities, and a return of a drive-in food festival, all have an official go-ahead to help this community to get back to normal.

There's a lot to be said for having fun traditions. Especially those traditions that can be enjoyed by families and communities year in and year out. Keeping a tradition can foster a sense of belonging. It gives us something to look forward to sharing together. The Central Washington State Fair is such a tradition and it's back September 24th - October 3rd!
