There's another food product recall going around that effects pretty much all of the United States.

Unfortunately, this one is a little harder to track down, but the FDA has made a lot of effort into making sure you're safe from this recall.

It's a lot about doughnuts, but doesn't limit itself to just doughnuts. It also counts for doughnut-like products (like maple bars, apple fritters, etc.)

And, though one of the suppliers is Dunkin', it's not limited to just Dunkin' for their doughnuts.

Confused, yet? Me, too.

What happened is the FGF supplies doughnuts to several locations throughout the United States and there's a voluntary recall on these due to possible listeria contamination.

So far, nobody has been sick from this, but better safe than sorry.

If you think your doughnuts may fall under this category, toss them or return them for a refund.

The FDA has a full list of what doughnuts and other items this could fall under.

The list features 60 items and each one mention that all product within expiration produced 12/13/24 and prior with 2,017,614 cases total for each item.

The FDA website has all the details.

This is all precautionary for this voluntary recall as no illnesses has been linked to this so far, and the goal would be to keep it that way. Here in the northwest we don't really have to worry about Dunkin' as we don't have one here but the same supplier may have connections to other pastry shops.
