Well, Lent started on March 6, and when I was put on the spot by Gunner -- who had asked on air what was I giving up for Lent (mind you, I am not Catholic, so I had given Lent zero thought) -- I quickly responded with "coffee." It was a great choice because it has been SO hard to not drink coffee.

But the issue is also just that, it's been SO hard! Coffee is a crucial part of my day. I love black coffee at 4:30 a.m. and throughout my morning. Believe it or not, it's not even about the caffeine -- I just love the taste of black coffee. Call me crazy, but it's so yummy!

I am proud to say that I have not once had a sip of coffee since saying I would give it up. That's not to say I haven't almost slipped up or said, "Wait, I don't really need to do this." But I really did need to do this, and I am so proud of myself!

What did you give up for Lent and have you stuck to it? Let me know!
