Mr. East Valley Contestants Raised Over $27,000 For Children’s Village!

I was asked to host the Mr. East Valley pageant this last Friday at the Capitol Theater. I jumped at the opportunity again this year. This was the second year hosting the event.

Over the course of the school year, the twelve Mr. East Valley contestants executed several fundraising events... all of which went toward the grand total which was announced Friday at the pageant.

How much did the Mr. East Valley Contestants raise? $27,064!! So incredible. Great job guys!

Not only was the total dollar amount raised revealed, but Mr. East Valley 2019 was also crowned. Congratulations to Ethan Sanderson! He got the crown and also $500 from First Fruits Marketing to use towards higher education.

What is Mr. East Valley? Well, East Valley High School has selected 12 contestants to compete in the annual fundraising and community service program, Mr. East Valley! Along with seven coordinators, these students are raising money to support the Memorial Foundation. This funding helps programs at Children’s Village and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital.
