As if we needed an excuse to eat chocolate! But I'll give you a few anyway, just in case someone gives you a hard time. Surprisingly enough, the right chocolate also has a few benefits we can all get behind.

  • Quality dark chocolate with a high cocoa content actually has a good amount of nutrients.
  • Dark chocolate appears to be highly protective against the oxidation of LDL cholesterol.
  • Dark chocolate may also help improve brain function

The two morals of this: 1.) Eat chocolate and 2.) Make sure it's dark chocolate.
