There's a place in Oregon that serves food so good, it just earned a spot amongst the top 1,000 best restaurants in the planet!

If fine dining cuisine is right up your alley, then get a load of this French restaurant in the Central Eastside of Portland.

Le Pigeon is quite unassuming; you'd never guess that a place with brick walls and a small industrial feel ranked just above a 5-star restaurant in New Delhi, India, Megu, and a Michelin-starred restaurant in Paris, France, L'Oiseau Blanc.

This is the only restaurant from Oregon on the list. Several eateries in California were named, from cities you would expect like Los Angeles, San Diego, and San Francisco.
