Rain Getting You Down? It’s Just Part of Our Soggy Northwest Culture

After that crazy rain storm Wednesday night, you might be wondering why water is dripping into your work place or home. We get it -- we occasionally have a few trouble spots around our office that require a bucket or garbage can to keep from having a mess until we can get it fixed.

Also, you might have noticed various Yakima intersections that flood and leave large puddles in the road. I just happened to drive through one of those puddles as someone was walking by, and even though the splash of water didn't hit the guy, it was a close call. It also made me aware of the fact I should look and see if someone is walking by when I'm cruising down the road.

It's all part of our soggy Northwest culture, right? Some of us enjoy the rain, but others ... well, not so much.
