Shaylee and her classmates have been working on writing books, complete with illustrations. Shaylee came home from school the other day holding up this beautiful new hardback book with a huge smile across her face.

Now that school officially begins this week up and down the Yakima valley I can’t help but think about my days in the classroom.  Sometimes I wish I could go back and change a few things…like my grades!  In all seriousness though, my education was the foundation for the person I am today.  Knowledge is power and that’s why even after we are out of school we never really stop learning.

Here is to the people that see the potential in you as a student and a future leader. They take that rough rock and polish it to a fine brillant diamond..Here's to the teachers!
