Valentine’s Day Still Brings Out the Kid in All of Us

Remember Valentine's Day as a kid? Sorting through all the Valentines from your classmates to find the ONE from the cute boy that you had a crush on.

Now I experience Valentine's Day through the eyes of my little girl, Shaylee, who is 10 years old and in the fifth grade. She's opinionated, artistic, caring and really couldn't care less about boys at this stage in her life. (I pray it stays that way, but I know it won't.)

She decorated a little mailbox like a frog for her Valentine's party at school to collect those cute cards from her classmates.
