
Holiday Giving Is Up As Washington Ranks High In Charity Efforts
It's always around this time of year when you hear more and more about charities looking for help whether it's donations, your time, cash, or any other way you can help with local charities and their various causes.
Financial website Wallet Hub ranked every state in the United States and Yakima is doing pretty well on this list.
It could be better, but it's not bad.
Washington was ranked 15 among every other state.

Not in the top 10 but still very high up on the list.
This list was tallied by looking at volunteer and service rank as well as charitable giving ranking from each state.

Good reminder that you don't need to give money to be charitable. You can also give your time to help out those in need.
In that case, Washington was ranked 15th place of all states which is great but could be even better.
