What Can Men Do to Help Out Around the House?

As a busy working mother of four kids, it can be difficult keeping up with the everyday chores.

The kids have their daily and weekly chores, which helps out.

And my husband tries to help out on weekends. He does laundry, loads and unloads the dishwasher and helps with whatever I need done.

He does great, but he might be in the minority, according to a recent survey that suggests men don't always meet their mates' expectations when it comes to household chores.

According to the survey, here's how women wish their guys would help out:

• 31 percent said just take the trash out.
• 30 percent said cooking.
• 23 percent said laundry.
• 16 percent said there's no way he can make the bed the way I like it, so I'd rather do it myself.
