It's been at the top of the 'businesses we want in Yakima' list for many people for a long, long time.

Rumors were swirling leading up to this, especially with the opening of the Kennewick location.

Yakima Valley Business Times has confirmed what they know.

Chick-fil-A is coming to Yakima.

Chick-fil-a is Coming to Yakima -- What We Know

Well, building a new building for Chick-fil-A isn't an overnight project, but they do have a location.

You'll find Chick-fil-A in the corner of the parking lot at Valley Mall when that time comes.

This should also hopefully give ample room for those long car lines when they first open and even weeks after including prime hours.

The plan is to be on the corner of Main and Valley Mall Boulevard which would be a fantastic location. Easy access and right off that exit.

Again, it's just the plan and not set in stone, so-to-speak.

I'm not the one involved with them coming here, but Chick-fil-A would do great for Yakima and the Yakima Valley. And I think that location would be a fantastic place to put it.

Yakima Valley Business Times is pretty gung-ho about this as well. They wrote about it in their newspaper as well as posting on their Facebook basically confirming that Chick-fil-A is coming so we'll see what the future holds.
