Four Things to Curb the Cold Weather
It's cold outside and you're looking for ways to warm up. I've got four ways you can heat things up to help you get through the worst of winter. Here we go ...
1.) Hot Cakes and Bacon: You will warm right up with some fresh pancakes hot off the grill smothered in butter and topped with warm syrup. Plus bacon! Do I need to say more?
2.) Salted Caramel Latte: On a cold day you can treat yourself to a Salted Carmel Mocha with extra whip and toppings. Yum!
3.) Johnny G's Stew: Gasperetti's is known as one of the valley's nicest restaurants for a fancy three-course meal, but they also have an affordable lunch menu that includes John's famous homemade stew. Fresh potatoes, parsnips, carrots and heart beef make this the perfect dish for a cold day.
4.) Bakon Bloody Mary: I know you think I spelled bakon wrong but I didn't. That's the name of the vodka that goes into a tasty bakon bloody mary. You're also thinking to yourself, why would he recommend a cold beverage? Here's why ... it's a sure thing to get your blood flowing and curb the cold chill on a freezing Yakima day. You can find them at Creekside and 5 North in Yakima.
