Every month it's our pleasure to introduce you to another miracle child from right here in the Yakima Valley.

These stories of inspiration show the courage and diligence from these kids and their families and a reminder that if you're going through something similar that you're not alone and there is help and support right here in Yakima.

This month, it's all about Aidan.

Yakima Child with Unlimited Creativity

Aidan is a creative and energetic 10-year-old who loves drawing, building with Legos, and playing video games. His imagination knows no bounds, and his determination is just as strong.

At age 3, Aidan was referred to Children's Village due to behavioral challenges. He was later diagnosed with autism, childhood apraxia of speech, sensory issues, behavioral issues, and food aversion. In the early days, communication was tough as he couldn't speak and often expressed frustration by biting himself or banging his head.

Through occupational, speech, and behavioral therapy, Aidan has made incredible progress. The support from Children's Village gave his family the tools to understand and help him thrive.

Now, when challenges arise, they know how to guide him through with confidence and care.

Children's Village has been a game-changer for Aiden and his family, helping unlock his potential and giving him the support he needs to keep leveling up.
