Meet Rhys Aleman: CMN Miracle Child of the Month
One of the monthly highlights is getting to know our miracle children from right here in the Yakima Valley.
Today it's all about Rhys Aleman.
Rhys was diagnosed with, not one, but several challenges. Schizencephaly, cerebral palsy, as well as epilepsy.
Through the wonderful services one can get at Children's Village, he received services such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy. It was through care like this that helped him progress in very meaningful ways.
Today, he's looking forward to getting back into physical therapy at Children's Village. He recently went through the program again through summer and fall last 2024.
We love to give shout-outs to the people who have helped the miracle families and Katie was a name that kept being brought up. Katie is one the of the therapists who has worked with Rhys since he was a 4-year-old.
Just because of his diagnoses doesn't stop him from being a kid. He loves spending time with family and friends and loves animals, cars, and trucks.
He's big into swimming, coloring, and riding his bike and a is a joy to those around him.
We love hearing stories like Rhys Aleman. We have more CMN Miracle Family of the Month as well you can catch up on.
Services through Yakima's Memorial Foundation and Children's Miracle Network can ensure our children and their families can get the help and services they need. Find out more at the memfound.org.
