Homemade Peach Pies Are a Sweet Reminder of Grandma Alice

I guess you could say I'm spoiled. Spoiled with love from my Aunt Jo.

Every year when peaches are ripe, she makes me a homemade peach pie. Even the flaky, buttery crust is homemade.

It's a bittersweet reminder of my grandma Alice, who would make me homemade pies -- cherry, peach, huckleberry, strawberry rhubarb and hoosier cream pie.

I miss my grandma dearly and in some way these pies make me feel like she lives on.
