The Morning Bull Pen and Kelly "Wild Wild" West set out on a great adventure on Friday. With temperatures reaching only 23 degrees and going down to 8 in the afternoon, it was a cold adventure, at that.  The goal was to raise $1,000 for Northwest Harvest during each broadcast with the the Bull crew. If we did, Coastal Farm and Ranch had pledged to match that by putting in their $1,000! W

Good thing Yakima has so many warm-hearted people -- they're helping keep Rik, Michele and Kelly "Wild Wild" West from freezing to death during today's (Dec. 16) fundraiser for Northwest Harvest.

Michele and I love Turkey Bowling and we've participated for many years to win the coveted trophy. We only have one win to our name after all these years and this year brought us mixed results.

It was our second year of competing in the Carve Out For Hunger Celebrity Pumpkin Carving Contest at the Selah Civic Center on October 22nd and it was our second straight lose. Tracy Dial, Tim Adams and the crew from KNDO thwarted us again. The good news is the contest was for a great cause and raised over 70,000 meals for Northwest Harvest and helps stock the shelves at the food bank.

Rik and I competed in Northwest Harvest's third annual Carve Out for Hunger celebrity pumpkin carving contest over the weekend. It's the first time I've competed, but Rik is a seasoned pro who informed me that the team to beat was KNDO!

Yakima's Biggest Yard Sale was one of the best we have ever had. The finds were amazing (I got a ton of stuff for my yard. Including an excellent carpet) and the people were great! If you weren't at Perry Tech this past weekend, you missed out on some serious treasures.

Any turkey bowler will tell you: When it goes cold, it just goes cold. And that's the way it was for the Bull Pen at Friday's annual celebrity turkey bowling event at Grocery Outlet on South First Street. Despite coming back as the defending champion from last year's event, the 92.9 team just couldn't heat up, hurling only one strike among the three of us (way to go, Rik!) with the rock-frozen bir

Lining up against carving teams from KIMA-TV, KARY-FM radio, KNDO-TV and KAPP-TV, the Bull Pen boys produced two of the more ...
