$1 or more from each sale will go to the Children's Miracle Network helping children in need in our area.

Though Children's Miracle Network is nationwide, the money raised locally will stay on a local level, according to Dairy Queen's website.

So many children in Washington and specifically the Yakima Valley have thrived with thanks from Children's Miracle Network. With services from MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital from the pediatric unit there and Children's Village which helps children of all ages and all abilities, there's plenty of reason to thank Children's Miracle Network for the good they've done for children in are area, providing services where before you'd have to drive all the way to Seattle to get the same service.

Dairy Queen has been a part of Miracle Treat Day since 1984 making this year the 40th year they're done this. It started out as just a few Dairy Queen locations participating to stores across the United States and Canada so far collecting more than $180 million for Children's Miracle Network.

I hope you can join the many and grab a Blizzard tomorrow. You deserve it.

If you can't make it into Dairy Queen, no worries. You can also donate directly to the Children's Miracle Network on Dairy Queen's website.
